Hey so my friends and I were going to stay at the Venetian, but two more decided to come and now we need two rooms, and that would be tooooo expensive at the Venetian, so does anyone know where we can get some last minute deals for rooms on the strip? Nothing cheap like Circus Circus,Excalibur. I’m looking at places like MGM, T.i, somewhere with some decent looking rooms. Were staying Fri,Sat, and Sun. Are there any places you can get deals for around $400-500 maybe even cheaper(3days). We are leaving in a 5-6 weeks and prices have rose!
I suggest you book through a wholesaler who gets good rates! I personally reccomend going through http://www.BestofVegas.com
But sometimes if the weekend is crazy sometimes there is nothing you can do, but shell out an arm and a leg for a normally cheap room.
Here are my suggestions:
Flamingo = about $520
Paris = about $540
Planet Hollywood=about $575
Monte Carlo=$450
NY,NY=$480
Luxor=$440
Prices are total for stay.
The order reflects my choices using your parameters. These are the only hotels with acceptable accommodations that are within your price range and are reasonably close to the Venetian.
Good Luck!

You can stay at MGM for $452 for June 27 – June 30 with three people. Check the MGM hotel promotions on http://www.vegas-hotels-online.com/categ... for this price (Ultimate Escape)
Check http://www.lasvegasnow.com
It would be helpful to have the dates you are coming.
Has anyone of you been to LV before? If so, do any of you have a players card for any of the casinos? If so you might get a discounted rate.
How many are coming?
When you said $400-500 is that for each room? Hope so. It would be difficult to find 2 rooms for that amount on a weekend even in the summer. 5-6 weeks would put it about 4th of July. If it is considered a long weekend due to holidays then rates are higher even in the hot LV summer.
Please edit your question with additional information we need to help you.

EDIT:
Once seeing your additional information it appears that right now Monte Carlo and NYNY are at your $400-500 for the type of lodging. I checked 1st on a site like Expedia, found the best deal there for what you are wanting then I went to the actual Casino’s website. If you book direct with the casino, keep checking the rates on the internet. Then if the rate gets better just call the casino hotel for an adjustment on your reservation. You usually can’t do that with travel sites.
.
Hint: if they know there is more then 2 in the room there will be a charge for 3. Book 2 rooms with 2 guests each. Tell your 2 other buds to be obscure. Tell check in that you need extra keys for each room in case someone leaves without their key. Catch Housekeeping in the hall, ask for extra towels and give them a few bucks. THEN the most important thing is to act as adults as not to draw attention to the room and they have to push the occupancy rule on you. The casino KNOWS what you’re doing. They are hoping that by them acting blind they will come out ahead in the casino action.
So don’t do anything in the room that someone might call in a complaint. ex. noise.
Have fun

Hi!
You might want to try The Mirage (starting at $289 per night). They have a online special running right now. Or the Mandalay Bay (around $289 per night). If you’re sold on the Italian themed hotel, try the Bellagio. They’re about $339 per night, which is a little bit more but still in the price range you mentioned.Go to their websites for the most current rate information. Be sure to search for any “web only” specials on the websites for even better deals. Also, be aware that Sunday through Thursday nights can be way cheaper than a Friday-Saturday stay. At the Mirage, for example, just tonight on their website I saw that the room on Friday and Saturday was $289 a night, and on Sunday night, just $129!
You might want to get right on it and book your rooms now… don’t wait much longer. Just like airfare, hotel rooms become more expensive the closer you get to arrival. And YES, it is usually cheaper to go through the hotel directly. Also, this way, you know what you’re getting. I mean, you can always check with the major travel sites, like Hotels.com, Travelocity.com or Priceline.com for lesser rates, but keep in mind, if you use one of those sites, there are MANY restrictions and most time reservations are NOT refundable and can not be changed, so choose wisely.
I’m so jealous… Vegas is amazing. I hope you all have a great time!
In my experience in booking Vegas trips, I have learned to use only the hotel’s direct site, or a site like smartervegas.com that lists all of the promotional offers given directly from the hotel. I have saved so much money that way. For example, in March we stayed at Excalibur for $51/night, and in August we are going to stay at Luxor for $59/night.
Here are the rates for your dates
Luxor ttl: pyramid- 345.53 tower- 410.93 suite- 492.68
MGM ttl: grand twr- 465.43 west king- 530.83
Mirage ttl: deluxe room- 540.64
Monte Carlo ttl: deluxe room- 378.23
New York ttl: skyline- 449.05 park ave- 481.75
TI ttl: deluxe- 477.75
These are the rooms in your price range. I would have recommended Excalibur because it is affordable and easy access to everything, but any of them are great. Just look at http://smartervegas.com/ and find what you want.
I hope this helps.
Also, only book two people in each room, just don’t let the front desk clerk see the third person. They charge quite a bit to add any extra people to your room. Good luck!
