It all started when two girls wanted to experience being with a girl. I met this girl last year from a dating site and she also wanted to experience it. She told me she has boyfriend and just wanted to see how it is. When we met she was so nervous she couldn’t look me in the eye. After a couple of weeks, we experience our first kiss. In which, it was great. It felt weird at first but at the same time it was a wonderful experience and I liked it. One month passes by and we rent a hotel and experience our first time being with a girl. We both were nervous and didn’t know what to do. Somehow we did it. Let me tell you it was weird but great at the same time. We both got what we wanted. But after experiencing our first sex encounter. We wanted more so we started to see more of each other. Within time we started to feel some kind of feeling for each other, even though she has a bf. I told her how I actually feel about her and I express my feeling to her, and then she did too. I told her we couldn’t see each other because I didn’t want my feeling to get deeper, due to the fact that she has a bf.
She said no that she still wanted to see me and that her relationship with her bf was already messed up. They already been having problem. So I stay and continue to see her more and more. So I ended up falling in love with this girl, and supposely she did too. When had a relationship going as a couple even though she was living with her bf. As time passes by she was getting jealous when I spend time when a guy that I used to dated. I told her not to worry we are only friends and nothing more then that. But she knew the guy like me a lot. So I told her, you have a bf and I’m sure you go out with him. She said that it different because when she goes out with him they don’t kiss or hugs. I told her it doesn’t matter you did go out with him.
As time continue to pass by, by February of this year our relationship was getting worse. We started to agrue a lot, and we hardly saw much of each other. I broke up with her a couple of times, but we always got back together. I forgive her and she forgav me for my mistakes. There was time when she spend most of the time with friends and not me. I also expressed my feeling to her but she always took it as if I was complaining to her. As time passing by we argue more and more and less time. She was very outspoken and rude when we argued most of the time, and that got to me a lot. She disrespected me most of the time and she was very inpatient and wanted her ways. I’m very simple and wasn’t as delicated as she was. She lived like 40 minutes away and I drove most of the time, due to she would complain that its too far. If I wanted to do something with her and she didn’t like where we were going. She were complain and end up not going and we ended up doing what she wanted. I said something to her. She complain. I’m the type of person that doesn’t like to argue a lot. So instead of listening to her argue if we didn’t agree on something. I would let her get her way. She always though of me negative, for example just recently she applied for a job and her interview went well and she got the job. But the company she applied too had to send the paper to coorparate, in which they did. She got a call yesterday saying that she didn’t get the job after all due to her D.U.I. She was disappointed and she thought I wanted her not to get the job. I told her she was wrong, I was happy that she actually got the job. she makes it seem that I’m a bad person when all I did was supporting her and being there for her.
Well just two days ago I broke up with her for the last time and I told her that its final. I couldn’t take it anymore. Despite all that, I’m in love with her and I miss her like crazy. I don’t know what to do now, I know it a very difficult situation to deal with. I don’t know if I should call her or just wait and give her sometime. I want her back but I said it final.
Please any advice I would appreciated.

I pretty much came from nothing, but managed to get out in time to keep my sanity, educate myself, and make a decent honest lifestyle. I married and immediately moved away from family which was one of the best decisions of my life. Here’s the thing…
When I go home to visit, I have 2 choices:
1. Stay with family that will steal everything I have from panties (i know gross) to whatever they can get there hands on
2. Stay with a nice family member with a huge infestation
Another huge problem is that the minute I hit home my family does nothing but beg from me, and it gets irritating, so not only do I have to deal with the stealing, I get begged from the entire time. So I learned a while ago that it’s best for my husband and I to stay in hotels. Somehow my family still manages to steal things from me, and pretty much get me for something. I have never left home without something coming up missing before I get on the plane. I try so hard to plan my trip out wisely but somehow someway something gets stolen. Last year my ipod came up missing, and it was the touch and was my most favorite and was personally engraved by my husband.
Although I am staying in a hotel, what steps can I make to assure that I won’t get stolen from? I already bought a swingpack which you can out over the body and keep on you at all times.
My husband feels like I should leave every at home, my wedding ring, laptop, camera, ipod, and other things but that’s the reason we have it all. I have realized my family will never ever change so I have to take precautions, and be smart about everything.

Avery enters the AAC lunchroom and joins the gang at their usual table.)
Dirk: Speaking of having it all … Where were you?
Avery: It’s not working, Dirk. It’s just not working.
Dirk: What is it that isn’t working?
Avery: Why did it all turn out like this for me? I had so much promise. I was personable, I was bright. Oh, maybe not academically speaking, but … I was perceptive. I always knew when David Robinson was uncomfortable at a party. It’s become very clear to me that every decision I’ve ever made, in my entire life, has been wrong. My life is the opposite of everything I want it to be! Every instinct I have, in every aspect of life, be it something to wear, something to eat … It’s all been wrong!
(A waitress approaches Avery.)
Waitress: Tuna on toast, coleslaw, cup of coffee.
Avery: Yeah. … No, no, no, wait a minute. … I always have tuna on toast. Nothing’s ever worked out for me with tuna on toast. I want the complete opposite of tuna on toast! Chicken salad, on rye, untoasted … and a cup of tea!
Kidd: Well, there’s no telling what can happen from this.
(Stack, sitting across the lunch room, looks longingly at Avery.)
Kidd: Ah, Avery, you know, that downside-of-his-career backup player just looked at you.
Avery: So what? What am I supposed to do?
Kidd: Go talk to him!
Avery: Kidd, short men, who didn’t get drafted, and who got no jumper, who live in a hotel, don’t approach superstars like Jerry Stackhouse!
Dirk : Well here’s your chance to try the opposite. Instead of tuna salad and being intimidated by superstars, chicken salad and going right up to them!
Avery: Yeah, I should do the opposite. I should.
Jerry: If every instinct you have is wrong, then the opposite would have to be right!
Avery: Yes, I will do the opposite. I used to sit on the NBA bench and do nothing, and regret it for the rest of the day, so now I will do the opposite, and I will do something!
(Avery saunters over to Stack.)
Avery: Excuse me, I couldn’t help but notice that you were looking in my direction.
Stack: Oh, yes I was, you just ordered the same exact lunch as me.
(Avery takes a deep breath.)
Avery: My name is Avery. I wasn’t drafted and I live in a hotel.
Stack: I’m Stack. Hi!
(Cut to Dirk’s mansion. Cubes comes dancing through the doorway.)
Cubes: Hey, UberMan, it’s all happening!
Dirk: What’s happening?
Cubes: The coffee table book. It’s a go! You know what this means? I’m starting the book tour. First stop: Regis and Kelly, and then NBC5 with Newy Scruggs, and then ESPN 103.3 Radio with Wally Lynn, then some pub on DallasBasketball.com. …
Dirk: I’ll loan you my puffy shirt.
(Cut to the practice court. Dirk, Kidd and Avery are working out before the week’s big game.)
Avery: I tell you this, something is happening in my life. I did this opposite thing last night. Up was down, black was white, good was –
Dirk: Bad.
Avery: Day was –
Kidd: Night.
Avery: Yes!
Dirk: I told Del Harris to go –
Avery: Up in a suite!
Kidd: I told Mark Cuban to come –
Avery: Down on the floor!
Dirk: So you just did the opposite of everything?
Avery: Yes. This has been the dream of my life ever since I was a child, and it’s all happening because I’m completely ignoring every urge towards common sense and good judgment I’ve ever had. This is no longer just some crazy notion. Guys, this is my religion! Stay stronger longer!
(Flash back four years. Avery is in Cubes’ AAC luxury bunker.)
Cubes: I gotta tell you, you are the complete opposite of every applicant we’ve seen. It’s been nice to meet you.
Avery: Well, I wish I could say the same, but I must say, with all due respect, I find it very hard to see the logic behind some of the moves you have made with this fine organization. In the past years you have caused myself, and the city of Dallas, a good deal of distress, as we have watched you take our beloved Mavericks and reduced them to a laughing stock, all for the glorification of your massive ego!
Cubes: Hire this man!
(Fast-forward to the start of the 2007-08 season. Avery enters the AAC lunchroom, dressed in his Mavericks sweatsuit, and joins Cubes.)
Avery: Greetings! Greetings! Greetings and salutations! What a beautiful day for a basketball game. Let’s play two! … I’m the head coach of the Dallas Mavericks! I’m going on the road trips with them! I’ll be on the plane… I’m taking over Nellie’s office in American Airlines Center! This is a dream! I’m busting, Cubes, I’m busting!
Cubes: Auerbach, Wooden, Dean Smith. … Avery Johnson?
(Avery sits down and speaks to the waitress.)
Avery: Oh, I’ll have the chicken salad on rye, my usual, you know what I get, darlin’.
(Avery turns back to Cubes.)
Avery: So, let’s see, I had a little conversation today with Mr. Dirk Nowitzki — he’s the MVP. We talked about some new roles around here. Devin as a distributor. Jet as a crunch-time dribbler. Stack as a greenlight shooter. Diop and Damp, we need them to score. And Dirk to be a distributor. We love our team! But you know, Coach is not crazy about the shooting. Dirky Basketball. He’s a helluva guy. … I’m back in business, baby! I am the Lil’ General!
Cubes: Yada, yada.
(Cut to the Thursday pregame bus ride in San Antonio. Avery is behind the wheel, Stack is cozily riding shotgun.)
Stack: Are you sticking with that little moustache?
Avery: Why shave every day? It just grows right back.
Stack: I guess …
Avery: I’m afraid I’m just not interested in how I present myself. If those kind of superficial matters are important to you, this probably isn’t gonna work.
(A car cuts in in front of the team bus, and Avery has to make a sudden maneuver.)
Stack: Hey watch it! He just cut you off! Did you see that?!
Avery (with incredible calm, no veins popping from his forehead): Take it easy. Take it easy. It’s not the end of the world. Let’s focus on the positives.
(Cut to the AT&T Center. There are 34.5 seconds remaining in a tight game. Mavs ball. Two young DFW media members are sitting behind the Mavs bench, directly behind Avery and Stack.)
Media person No.1 (To Stack): Hey baby, how about a little tongue action, huh?
Media person No.2: Yeah, stick your tongue down his throat!
(They kick the backs of Avery and Stack’s seats.)
Stack: What are we gonna do? Shall we just move?
Avery (Getting up and turning toward the two young DFW media members): That won’t be necessary.
Avery: Shut your traps and stop kicking the seats! We’re examining our data so Stack can go in for Kidd in the final 34.5 seconds! And if I have to tell you again, we’re gonna take it outside and I’m gonna show you what it’s like! You understand me? This is a work in progress! Now, shut your Poisonous Journalism mouths or I’ll shut’em for ya, and if you think I’m kidding, just try me. Try me! Because I would love it!
(Even Spurs fans applaud as Avery sits down again.)
Stack: Who are you, Avery Johnson?
Avery: I’m the opposite of every coach you’ve ever met.
It’s pretty long so I’ll just put the first couple of paragraphs. If you want more tell me ![]()
Harvey Edelman, age thirty-four and counting, his once-attractive face now adorned with a hobo-signature salt-and-pepper beard and weather beaten ruddy skin, sat against the wall of Café Figaro smoking a cigarette. It wasn’t a very good cigarette, Harvey thought absently. The smoke in it was weak and ashes were getting all over the ground. He briefly dreamed up a wildly imaginative story in which New York burned to the ground from his cigarette spark and started to chuckle, but he choked on a puff of smoke and his fantasy quickly ended. He always did have a good imagination. He remembered sitting in high school Freshman English, writing mildly decent love poetry while he stared wistfully at Meredith Greene. He had known her for so long, been in love with her for so long. Borrowed notebook paper from her at Omaha Middle, scribbled Meredith Edelman on his notebooks at Omaha High, stalked her from the minute her family moved in across from his, the summer of 8th grade. Gazed at her as she danced with William Newport at the Senior Prom while he lamely ladled spiked punch into happy couple’s plastic cups. Thought that maybe on the last day of school, he would tell her, and they would kiss and date and get married and live happily ever after.
But he never told her. He had never even said goodbye to her. He had lost his nerve, had chickened out, and had watched her BMW squeal a sick kind of goodbye as it pulled out of her garage for that last time. And that was it. By this time, she had graduated from Columbia and probably married that pretentious **** Benedict.
And he had still come.
At first, it had seemed like a dream. He felt as if he was watching someone else put the Stanford acceptance letter through the paper shredder, pack a duffle, take a credit card out of his father’s wallet, fly to New York, and wander around the Columbia campus every day looking for Meredith while he stayed in a shitty hotel in Harlem.
After the credit card had reached its limit, he got a job at a used bookstore. He held that for a while and gave up on her, but four months after he had started he heard from a coworker that a semi-famous model named Meredith went to get coffee every day at a place called Café Figaro in Greenwich Village and he had quit right then and there.
Harvey had been sitting outside of the Café all day and all night waiting for her. He never saw her. Once, he thought he had and almost had a heart attack, but he had hadn’t seen her dimpled grin, heard her pitchy voice, or smelled her sandalwood perfume since the last day of school.
He realized her appearance could have changed considerably (after all, she was a model now), but he was confident he could spot her a mile away. Nobody else had that shade of hair, so blonde it was almost white. Natural, too.
So he had been sitting against this wall, waiting for her, for more than thirteen years with no reward. So what? He hadn’t gotten close, but he had gotten his cigar. Cigarette, actually. He knew it was a filthy habit, but most models smoked, so wouldn’t Meredith like the fact he smoked?
Besides, the wall was a great place for creative inspiration. He had painted his first sign after instead of change, a passing art major from NYU had tossed him leftover supplies from his backpack: black paint and some manila paper.
A lot of times he didn’t have paper. That was fine. When that happened, he used cardboard from the trash can. But he always had paint. People gave him paint, and not the kiddie kind you buy at Hobby Lobby for a dollar. The real deal, the stuff that came from ostentatious stationary shops near Central Park. Because he was Harvey the Hobo, Harvey the Hobo Poet. He knew his nicknames, knew he had a Wikipedia entry somewhere on the web, knew he had become a symbol of “Oh those crazy New Yorkers” just like the Naked Cowboy. But he willingly posed for pictures with tourists, willingly chatted with the college students, willingly painted sign after sign. He liked to think of the signs as his therapy, as his way of getting out his frustration with the world. He had realized a long time ago the world was just plain ****. He liked to think of himself as enlightened. It made him feel accomplished, like he had joined the ranks of Da Vinci and Socrates. Maybe he had, in his way. Wouldn’t that be something.
I must admit that listening to McCain answer Pastor Rick Warren’s questions so quickly and glibly last night at the Saddleback Faith Forum made me wonder if he somehow knew them in advance. He was so confident, so concise. But I put the thought aside as unduly paranoid — that is until a few minutes ago. I was routinely checking my favorite election website fivethirtyeight.com and the webmaster, Nate Silver, referred to a piece in Daily Kos about the whereabouts of John McCain for the first thirty minutes of Senator Obama’s interview with Rick Warren. Was he in a cone of silence? Perhaps not.
Daily Kos blogger Furiousxxgeorge wrote at 3:27 pm Pacific time the following blog: Pastor Warren, the host of last night’s forum was just on CNN. In an interview with Rick Sanchez the pastor admitted McCain was not even at the Church for the first half hour of the event. This admission comes as a surprise to those of us who watched the event and were told many times that McCain was at the Church and in isolation.
CNN says they talked to McCain’s camp and they said no one in his camp was listening. The honor system, are you kidding me?
I think it is pretty clear at this point McCain did indeed know the questions in advance.
If someone can get a video or transcript please post.
Is this a big deal or not? It seems like someone ought to ask both McCain and Warren what really happened. The “truthiness” of this Forum is at stake.
Update: Pastor Warren states that McCain told him he did not “hear” the questions. He was in a motorcade from his hotel to the church, arriving about 30 minutes into the Obama interview hour. McCain did not say whether anyone else on his staff “heard” the questions, however. http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/08/17/warren-mccain-did-not-violate-cone-of-silence/

Readers Digest Version:
Dated a girl for 1.5 years. We broke up and she had to deal with a lot of drama from her family because they really liked me. During this time a new guy swooped in and was trying to steal her away from me while she was still trying to find out if she still loved me. She has gone back and forth for the last month trying to figure out what she wants, she hangs out with me and with this guy and I know they have at least kissed and slept in the same bed (no sex – I know she isn’t that type of girl just cuddling) After going through a roller coaster of emotions for the last month, feeling like I am winning her back and then the next minute feeling like I am losing her. She is starting to realize the relationship we had was great and wants to start it back up but she doesn’t want to hurt this other guy because he got way to attached way to early. Long story short, she is wanting to get back into a relationship with me. This other guy is trying to get her to take a weekend trip with him to Mall of America so that they can both get away from all the drama that has been surrounding this situation. She isn’t sure if she wanted to go on a short vacation like that with him at this time but she was enticed by the idea of getting away from the drama. Here’s the problem:
I told her, that I wouldn’t allow myself to continue to get hurt in this situation and told her if she went on that trip, we would have to cut ties as long as I needed to finally get over her for good.
This upsets her because she sees him just as a friend now and wants to maybe take the chance to get away from all the drama and doesn’t understand why I am overreacting. She feels like I am trying to keep her away from doing things with friends.
My point of View: He can’t be just a friend to her anymore, now that his feelings toward her are known and there brief history together, they can never be just friends. Even if she see him just as a friend, his feelings toward her will always be present when they hang out together.
So what do you think? Am I overreacting? Should I allow the woman I love to go on this trip with a “Friend” and stay in the same hotel room?
My landlord breached my lease on my move in day yesterday June 15th. I was given no notice and was sent an email Monday morning informally voiding the lease (formally being certified or registered).
He has a lawyer advising him and he’s already he knows I can sue him for breach especially since he gave me literally 0 days notice he’s been advised by his lawyer to help me as much as he can. Anyway last night he payed for my hotel and I imagine he will continue to do so until I find living.
He’s offered to move all my stuff for me into his storage unit 20 minutes away… should I accept this offer… would you? Or could this hurt me if I decide to sue him… is he trying to build his character here? He has a lawyer advising him on everystep now because he knows his lack of resonsibility put him legally on the block.
My case is going to be for the differential in my new 1 yr lease with my breached lease. I had a lease in place for 3 months 600 a month utilities included 2br 2bth condo. He was a business man leaving the state so he gave me the deal of a lifetime because he said at the time he didn’t want any loose ends.
After a reasonable search, I can’t even find a 1br place for under 850 + utilities the guy really did give me a good deal. 850 plus utilities is about 400 more a month I’ll be paying or about 4800 extra dollars I’ll be paying for this year due to the breached lease. Keep in mind this man gave me 0 days notice and no actual formal notice only an email sent on move in day. He had 3 months with this lease in place and waited until the last week to find out his mortgage company won’t allow him to make his primary residence a rental.
Should I allow him to help me in any respect? Will it hurt my case if I allow him to pay for my hotels for the week? Would you allow him to move your stuff into his storage area? Basically I’ll have a definitive answer from him if his mortgage company if they will allow it by today if so he said he would make me a new lease.
If he doesn’t get the answer I want naturally I’ll be suing him and I can see me getting my stuff out of his storage being a weird situation.
Does accepting help from the landlord prior to a law suit build his character in court?
I feel if there ever was a case where you could get the differential between a new lease and the breached lease this would be the definition. Landlord formally never even terminated lease certified mail, only a email sent on my move in day. He keep things open because he was optimistic his mortgage company would allow him to do this so it appears he was wrong. I feel I should not be resposible for the extra 5k I’m going to have to pay in my new 1 yr lease.. he should be responsible for breaching my lease on my move in day (he put to much trust in his mortgage company not telling me any of this until yesterday). If he even gave me like a week notice regarding the breach maybe he could be off the hook but this guy told me practically when I was on his door step with my belongings. I’ve been wronged bigtime so in this case some 1 months payout simply isn’t going to do anything especially since my lease was in place for 3 months with 1st and security paid and he waited until this week to find out from his mortgage company.
In a similar situation like this hypothetically speaking what would you advise?
You are a flight attendant. It is Christmas Eve, and there is chaos all around. The winter storm is almost nation-wide, and the delays have been maddening. You feel sorry for the ticket agents dealing with angry passengers. For most of the day, you have been dealing with passengers who are generally happy; between the time that they have made it on the flight and are going home, and the time they find out their luggage has been lost.
You are well rested. Despite full hotels the company had managed to secure rooms for you and your fellow crewmembers, but you heard other crews were not so fortunate. This 5-hour cross-country flight will bring all the crewmembers home. You promised your 6 and 7 year old kids that Santa would come through, that you would be home for Christmas… but you should have been home 3 days ago. Repeated cancelled flights and last minute scheduling changes has led to this unfortunate situation.
You are the in-charge flight attendant, there are six others on board. They are mostly new-hires, not senior enough to take these days off. Then again, you couldn’t get these days off either. You have been together for the past five days. Today in particular has been very long, this will be your third flight. Your duty time is about to run out. You already received an extension, but that too is running out.
You have been on this plane trying to depart for the past 4 hours now. The plane had been deiced, but weather came in. The pilots waited for the weather to clear, but needed to be deiced again. Then sitting in line to depart for so long burning gas, the plane needed to be refueled. Then deiced again. Once again you are in line to depart.
You look at your watch. That’s it. If you took off right now and the flight time was all timely, you would arrive 1 minute over your duty time. You would be knowingly violating company policy. You may also be violating federal air regulations as well, but you don’t know for sure.
You look up at a fellow flight attendant. She too is looking at her watch. She looks up, forces a smile, then quickly looks away. Does she know? The two pilots will be making their first and only flight of the day, but you and your six fellow flight attendants are all in violation. Nobody says a word…
You are called to the flight deck. The captain looks at you and tells you “Alright. Forecast weather at the destination is very good, so lots of guys diverting there. Dispatch tells me average hold time to land is about 45 minutes. Good thing we refueled, we can hold for hours if we have to. Here everything is shutting down. Some really bad stuff is blowing in from the west within the hour. Good thing we’re eastbound. Couple guys were asked to return to the gate, but apparently there are no gates to return to. Some arrivals have been waiting 30 minutes for ramp crews to move empty planes out of the gates. They aren’t letting any departures go. Heard some guys who were waiting for pushback, are now deplaning. Glad that wasn’t us. Now I don’t know what is going on, the runways look fine. They probably ran out of deicing fluid, or maybe someone crashed their truck on the ramp. Nobody’s letting me know.”
You listen to the roar as another aircraft departs.
“We’ll probably be the last plane to leave today. Four hours behind schedule, but it will be good to be home. Just wanted to update you on the situation before take-off. The passengers aren’t getting anxious are they? Is the crew still ready to go?”
The first officer looks over to the Captain and tells him they’re next for take-off.
What do you do?
Please help to find some good hotel to stay for reasonable price and any last minute deals??
Looking for something cheap but near the hot spots and walking distance to beach (3 -4 blocks). Know of any last minute deals that may be available? or know of any cheap hotels that you’ve stayed in before that I should give a try? Thanks!
