Ok. here is the deal.. For the past two days i’ve been trying to find a hotels that have a hot tub / jacuzzi IN THE ROOM.. But i don’t want to go to a sybaris.. SO yeah.. Does anyone know where I could go, near the Chicago Land area?? Times running out.. Need help

We let everyone know a year in advance that we were having a destination wedding. The only person who raised concern about expenses was his mother who we paid for her plane ticket and hotel stay. not a big deal. his sister was supposed to read the reading at the ceremony. last week i called her to ask if she was still doing the reading. she has been avoiding my calls and dodging me. (its 4 weeks til the wedding) she instead texts me she isnt coming and wont do the reading. this is totally coming out of left field. than on top of it she insults me in the text message! i am so flabergasted at this womans nerve. how can she back out and then insult me to make herself feel better?? should i have my fiance handle it, or should i just cut her off completely. i feel like she totally crossed the line. esp since we have done soo much for her in the past and she can afford to to come to the wedding since she just got an inheritance of a large sum.

Me and a friend want to go to Rhodes for a week in September, from about the tenth. We’re on a tight budget. Can anyone recommend a basic but reasonably decent hotel or apartment (we want a room each) in Rhodes old town or Lindos? Also, which is the best budget airline to use, flying from Bristol, Manchester or Heathrow? Alternatively a good package deal could work out cheaper, if there is any particular company you can recommend. I’ve browsed a little, but I’m struggling to find anything particularly cheap.

I normally book my ski holidays a while in advance as I usually go with a large group of people so it’s the only practical option. This year however there’s only two of us going, so I am wondering if it is worth booking last minute. What are people’s experiences with this? Due to work commitments I will have to book time off soon anyway, so won’t get the advantage of hanging on for a good snowfall, but will I get a cheaper deal booking last minute? If so how late is the best time to book? I want to go in Feburary or March – I don’t mind particularly which country I go to (but still in Europe to keep costs down), but would want to go somewhere with a medium to large piste area, so would probably like to go to one of the bigger resorts. Prefer hotels to self-catering. Am I likely to get a better deal booking last minute, or is this only the case if the snow is bad? Any advice would be very welcome. Thanks

I am trying to find cheap plane tickets for either next weekend or the weekend after next from either of these aiports: SFO, OAK, SJC and I’m travelling to STL
I am looking for either a package deal (with hotel) or just the plane ticket for under $400.
If anyone can reccommend a good site that would be very helpful.

We are a family of 4 and suddenly have a couple of weeks free and can travel for a week anytime between 12 and 18 july, which means before the big rush. I had hoped to find a good all-inclusive deal but the prices seem much the same now as they usually are. Apart from the obvious last minute dot com and travel supermarket, along with the travel agents own sites I didn’t know if there was some other site that would be good. I can’t believe that hotels and flights would rather be empty than sell the places and I don’t really mind where we go as long as there is sun, sea and good food!

My great aunt died and my mom is trying to make it to the furneral. She doesn’t have a lot of money and we are trying to get the lowest possible rates. She needs to leave from Milwuakee or Madison, WI and fly to Lawton, OK on 4/27/07 to 4/29/07 any time. We thought booking the hotel with the flight would give us cheaper rates but we don’t have to. What site do you suggest?

I am wanting to take a little 3 day vacation next week-end and am trying to find some last minute travel deals on hotel/activities. I am located in southern CA so I would like to travel to somewhere nearby such as L.A or San Francisco, or Palm Springs. I have lived in cali all my life and have never been to those places. So, please give me your suggestions on where I should look for last minute (cheap) travel deals. I have looked on www.lastminutetravel.com and orbitz and didn’t find much. It would be helpful if you have boughten last minute travels deals….please tell me about it!
