Where do i start? There is no question that I love my wife. For two years i have been married to her. I was the happiest man in the world when the both of us decided to elope back in 2006.
Unfortunatlly i never expected such a dark cloud of suffering during my 2 years of marriage. My wife and I were married back in March of 2006. One month later i found out a horrifying issue that she has. She was addicted to Crack Cocaine and Pain Pills.
I never saw it coming. It was just a mack truck that hit me straight on and it has yet to stop. Before we were married my wife was laid off from her job. She did not take it well at all. She was always upset, always sleeping and i noticed that she was not taking care of her place much anymore. I just thought to myself that this was probably typical when depressed about losing a job.
A couple weeks after we go married i notice odd things missing. I couldnt find my poker set, i couldnt find my watch, i couldnt find my camera..etc.. Since we just moved to a new house i just thought it was just packed up somewhere. After all was unpacked i still didnt find them. Everyweek something would dissapear.
During the same time i would notice that 20 here, 20 there was taken from the ATM a number of times each week…I couldnt figure it out. Sometime in April i needed to leave town for business for 5 days. Everything had been going great until my third day away. I was at a CVS buying a snack and my card was declined. Thinking that maybe i just forgot to move my money from one account to another i made no big deal of it. A couple hours later i was shocked to notice that 3 transactions had been made for 150, 300 and 220 from 9pm to 3am. I called the wife to see why so much was taken out a i couldnt get a hold of her to 24 hours.
After i came home i kept drilling her on why so much $ was taken out and she just said that she owed some people money and that its all taken care of. Naturally that answer was not good enough for me, but i just delt with it.
A week later once again 350 bucks was taken out. I tried to call her but no answer. I did not hear back for 48 hours. I begged and proded and pleaded to her. She finally broke down and told me the truth she was addicted to crack and pain pills and periodically she would have her binges. She promised me it wouldnt happen again and she was getting help.
A week later 500 gone. The continous circle of money concerns, divorce threats, appologies and dissapointments has gone full circle over an infinate number of times. The worst month was in September of 2007 when 2600 had been taken from savings in one month.
There have been a number of things ive tried from controling the money, letting our family know of the issues, selling out second car to make up for bills and to also limit her ability to drive. She just finds ways to still get her fix. From forging my name on my checks to phycolohgically messing with my mind and making me feel horrible for making her feel like i was controling her life.
In my opinion im dont believe that i crossed the line. I gave her money when she asked. All i asked was for reciepts. I would take her to when she wanted to go at ANYTIME of the day or night. i was her personal choffier. But unfortunatllly that wasnt enought in her mind. So what do i do?? Loan her the car. Unfortunatlly there were time where i got the impact of her binges. Many times she would leave me stranded for hours after work and i would just wait. Knowing deep inside the reason she was late was because she wasnt in a state to drive. On average i would be stranded for 5 or 6 hours until she came to get me or if i convinced a friend to drop me off. The worst was when i went to work an event 2 hours away from home Both her an i were working different promotional events. She got out a couple hours before i did. Because of that i gave her the car to get us something to eat…..She never came back. I didnt knopw what to do? My wife had left me to go 2 hours south to get her fix. She kept telling me that she was leaving in 10 minutes…2 hours went to 4 hours, 4 hours when to 6 hours…etc..It was midnight and she still hadnt shown up. I knew i had to walk to a hotel. I arrived at the hotel. Unfortunatlly to my dissapointment the card was declined. I looked in my pocket and only had 50 bucks. The room was 90. I couldnt do anything. I checked my balence and noticed “$0″. I called my wife and told her that i had 0 money and that i could not get a room. She said she would be leaving to get me….I was in the streets for 48 hours until i ran into a lady that was desperate for gas money and needed to go accross the state. After i convinced her i was safe, i gave her my last 40 bucks i had with me and she dropped me off to my car.
I love my wife, but going through this wirlwind of stress at the moment. Its really effecting my health and my job. At the same time i dont vent to anyone since i am JUST SO EMBARRASED about the wh

Does Anyone Know Anyone Who Went To Jail From Craigslist?

So I posted another question and had on person respond saying his brother went to jail for the same things….. Below you will find the thread. I just want more information and stories on this. I am really upset as I have a right to free speech.
Craigslist “Going to Jail” email?
So I received an email last night after posting something on Craigslist. I was simply asking for chill people that wanted to hang out as I travel for a living and am trying to find some peeps. I have been here a year and just sit in my hotel. Although I do go to bars, I am looking for people that like bluegrass, jam bands and such; I also wanted to find some people that are what we call “420 friendly” (a term used all the time on craigslist post). I posted it and when I came back to my PC and checked my email (it is not one I have up all the time) I saw a message that said this “Let me be clear. If see your post again, you will be going to jail. It better be gone in the next 10 minutes. Your choice. ”
Funny thing was this was about an hour after I posted it. I replied to ask what was wrong with it and explained that I would remove it at that time. I went to remove it and it had already been flagged. I clicked on my check mail and I have this….
“As a matter of fact, I see it is still up, so since you didn’t believe me, you are now being reported to the police. Enjoy the investigation. Learn the lesson.”
I know that IP addresses can be used to determine who it is that is writing this things, but I don’t know what I did wrong, or how I can GO TO JAIL over writing something on a wall that was no directed at anyone.
I had nothing about $$$ on the site at all.
I wrote to craigslist legal department about it since I am a little concerned.
I find it funny that prostitutes can sell “company” for the evening, but I cannot even put a post about wanting to hang out with some chill people. You cannot arrest a woman for posting that she is going to have sex with someone for money, which is why they cannot just arrest corner girls, only those that offer themselves for money (a transaction has to take place).
Should I be concerned at all? Who should I contact about this?
Dave – What do you mean? What happened and what were the details…… was he trying to sell? Did he meet up with someone? How did they locate him?
This is wrong. I agree with everyone else, don’t they have better things to do.
What do I tell the authorities? Or should I just wait and see what happens?
The email was not from CL as all, but rather a gmail account.

Does He Want More Then Just Be Friends?

Ok, sorry but this is gonna be long, I’ll tell you practically the entire story so that way you’ll be able to understand more…I’d like to know what you guys think about it!
Last may I met a guy at the bar and we spend the night playing pool at the end of the night we left our seperate ways. I saw him again at the bar in july, I remembered nothing about him but he remembered my name and even what I was wearing that night in may. Anyways, that night we left together and the rest of the night was just awesome. 2 days later he came to the restaurant I used to work so I gave him my number. The next night we hooked up again and when we woke up the next morning his pick-up truck was smashed…I mean really smashed, $4000 in damage. I thought for sure that that would put an end to whatever we had cause he was pretty sure that my bf had did it…Ya I know I had a bf and he also had a gf….Anyways after that I started working at an hotel and I only saw him after that in august…Turns out that the hotel I started working at is the hotel he stays at everytime he works in town, wich was 3 weeks a month. Well when we saw each other again in August we made a deal that we would be friends with benefits, I was fine with that cause we were both in relationships and he was fun…Well, everytime I was doing his room, I always had a note waiting for me, when I was working nights too every night when he was done work he was always coming to see me in whatever room I was in and he was always inviting me to go up his room once I was done work, even if it was just to have a smoke…Then we started texting, I mean really texting….often it happened that we would start texting at 9 in the morning and we would stop like at 8 at night, actually we’re still doing that. We also had a deal that we couldn’t text each other if we were not working in case we would get caught, he started texting me even when he was on days off when he was at home with gf…Then around october well he stopped going home on days off and he was staying in town, he was rigwatching instead of going home, he invited me often too to go to the rig, in october I realized I was falling for him. Even when he was working out of town he was taking the time to come and see me. In november I spend 2 days at the rig with him…In december at the bar one night it was girls gone wild so he had invited me, i went but me and bf got into huge fight so i left. That night I took a hotel room to get away from bf and I had called him to let him know that I was ok and 10 minutes later he was knocking on my hotel room, he left his friends at the bar and spend the night with me instead of watching girls gone wild. December was the month we hooked up the more. We both became single in the same week in december wich is weird, it just happened. Since the end of december he’s been working in AB and I live in BC so we don’t see each other that often anymore but we still text everyday and still mostly it’s all day long. He came to see me in February for 2 days and it was awesome, the second day we spend the day in bed just to cuddle…Next week he’s days off again and he’s coming to see me…Right now we are also making plans to go spend a weekend together in AB for may.
Since the beginning he told me that we would only be friends and nothing more…We are both single now and he tells me that he wants to stay single…I’m falling for him real bad and me and my friends believes that he’s interested but we think that it scares him.
It doesn’t make sense to us with everything he does that he only wants to be friends……texting me everyday, making plans to take me away on vacation and driving 3 hrs to just have sex when he could have sex easily in his town, it doesn’t makes sense at all!
Do you think he’s also interested or does he only wants to be friends with benefits?
Your opinion would be appreciated, it would help me decide what I should do, go for him or stop everything.

Does Anyone Have A Guess As What Senator Biden Might Be Talking About?

ABC News’ Matthew Jaffe Reports: Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del., on Sunday guaranteed that if elected, Sen. Barack Obama., D-Ill., will be tested by an international crisis within his first six months in power and he will need supporters to stand by him as he makes tough, and possibly unpopular, decisions.
“Mark my words,” the Democratic vice presidential nominee warned at the second of his two Seattle fundraisers Sunday. “It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.”
“I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate,” Biden said to Emerald City supporters, mentioning the Middle East and Russia as possibilities. “And he’s gonna need help. And the kind of help he’s gonna need is, he’s gonna need you – not financially to help him – we’re gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Because it’s not gonna be apparent initially, it’s not gonna be apparent that we’re right.”
Not only will the next administration have to deal with foreign affairs issues, Biden warned, but also with the current economic crisis.
“Gird your loins,” Biden told the crowd. “We’re gonna win with your help, God willing, we’re gonna win, but this is not gonna be an easy ride. This president, the next president, is gonna be left with the most significant task. It’s like cleaning the Augean stables, man. This is more than just, this is more than – think about it, literally, think about it – this is more than just a capital crisis, this is more than just markets. This is a systemic problem we have with this economy.”
The Delaware lawmaker managed to rake in an estimated $1 million total from his two money hauls at the downtown Sheraton, the same hotel where four years ago Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., clinched the Democratic nomination. Despite warning about the difficulties the next administration will face, Biden said the Democratic ticket is equipped to meet the challenges head on.
“I’ve forgotten more about foreign policy than most of my colleagues know, so I’m not being falsely humble with you. I think I can be value added, but this guy has it,” the Senate Foreign Relations chairman said of Obama. “This guy has it. But he’s gonna need your help. Because I promise you, you all are gonna be sitting here a year from now going, ‘Oh my God, why are they there in the polls? Why is the polling so down? Why is this thing so tough?’ We’re gonna have to make some incredibly tough decisions in the first two years. So I’m asking you now, I’m asking you now, be prepared to stick with us. Remember the faith you had at this point because you’re going to have to reinforce us.”
“There are gonna be a lot of you who want to go, ‘Whoa, wait a minute, yo, whoa, whoa, I don’t know about that decision’,” Biden continued. “Because if you think the decision is sound when they’re made, which I believe you will when they’re made, they’re not likely to be as popular as they are sound. Because if they’re popular, they’re probably not sound.”
Biden emphasized that the mountainous Afghanistan-Pakistan border is of particular concern, with Osama bin Laden “alive and well” and Pakistan “bristling with nuclear weapons.”
“You literally can see what these kids are up against, our kids in that region,” Biden said in recalling when his helicopter was forced down due to a snowstorm there. “The place is crawling with al Qaeda. And it’s real.”
“We do not have the military capacity, nor have we ever, quite frankly, in the last 20 years, to dictate outcomes,” he cautioned. “It’s so much more important than that. It’s so much more complicated than that. And Barack gets it.”
After speaking for just over a quarter of an hour, Biden noticed the media presence in the back of the small ballroom.
“I probably shouldn’t have said all this because it dawned on me that the press is here,” he joked.
“All kidding aside, these guys have left us in a God-awful place,” he then said of the Bush regime, promptly wrapping up his remarks. “We have the ability to straighten it out. It’s gonna take a little bit of time, so I ask you to stay with us. Stay with us.”
I guess the question may also be is Senator Obama ready for what might lay ahead????
