my girls and I are planning a last minute beach trip before we all head back to college. We need a cheap but decent hotel room from August 22 to the 24. How can I go about finding the cheapest deals.. websites? please help!!!

Looking to revive myself after the holidays sucked all the positive energy out of my soul. I get all these last minute deal offers from Expedia and such, but after investigating, its all B.S.! We want to go down to the Keys, or southern Florida from St. Louis, non-stop. We want a beach front hotel for 3 nights, but only want to pay $300 +/- per person for a Fri-Mon stay. Is this possible? I don’t care about 4 or 5 star hotels, just so long as it is ON the beach, and has a pool with a happy, generous bartender. Is this a do-able mini vacation? Ideas? Suggestions for my sanity? Thanks!

If I don’t care where I go and can leave at last minutes notice on boxing day from london for up to 2 weeks (don’t really mind how long/short). How can I get the best deal. Surely they have random extra seats on flights that would be really cheap but they wouldn’t know till very soon before?

I know so far that Travelocity is the cheapest to purchase last minute travel deals. I am leaving fron Toronto, and going to Miami. I would like to stay on the beach..the hotel I really like is Called Fontainbleu.
Does anyone know when there are really good deals (seasonal) and if there are any other websites that are better than traveloctiy.?

– schemes and packages given by airlines or countries from time to time ( for ex – , i got a travellers pass from SA airways ten years back, a sri lankan fight plus hotel pacage 5 years back, a malaysian airline 3 stop deal 2 years back…….) any one shop website hosting links to all these deals ?

Me and a friend want to go to Rhodes for a week in September, from about the tenth. We’re on a tight budget. Can anyone recommend a basic but reasonably decent hotel or apartment (we want a room each) in Rhodes old town or Lindos? Also, which is the best budget airline to use, flying from Bristol, Manchester or Heathrow? Alternatively a good package deal could work out cheaper, if there is any particular company you can recommend. I’ve browsed a little, but I’m struggling to find anything particularly cheap.

My girls and I are planning a trip to Vegas in early May (probably from the 2nd to the 5th). What and where would be the BEST prices to find a deal on the flight and the hotel (somewhere on or near the strip)?!?
Any recommendations on whether we should by last minute or not? Also, I’ve heard that leaving from Buffalo would be cheaper. Any suggestions on that?
