I would like to go during August 15th to August 22nd. Coach is fine, and doesnt matter what time. Looking for something under $600.00. No hotel I’m going to stay at a hostel out there. My dates are flexable a day or 2 before the 15th is fine and I could leave a day early or later. Everything seems very expensive on line, do you think I could save some money if I waited and tried to find something last minute? Please help!

I am trying to find cheap plane tickets for either next weekend or the weekend after next from either of these aiports: SFO, OAK, SJC and I’m travelling to STL
I am looking for either a package deal (with hotel) or just the plane ticket for under $400.

I am wanting to take a little 3 day vacation next week-end and am trying to find some last minute travel deals on hotel/activities. I am located in southern CA so I would like to travel to somewhere nearby such as L.A or San Francisco, or Palm Springs. I have lived in cali all my life and have never been to those places. So, please give me your suggestions on where I should look for last minute (cheap) travel deals. I have looked on www.lastminutetravel.com and orbitz and didn’t find much. OK we all see these ads on TV about getting cheap last minute hotel deals. Well I cant seem to find any of these deals and was wondering if anyone knows any tricks or tips to getting the best rates. I am going on a weekend stay in Savannah and everything I see on the low rate websites is just as much as if I booked through the hotel. Anybody out there have any suggestions?

I want to go on a one week vacation the second week in august. I’m having a hard time deciding where, because my original plans fell through. I heard you can sometimes get really good deals if you book something the last minute.
Has anyone ever done this before ?
Is there a good website?
I checked out lastminutetravel.com, it seems to have some cool stuff.
It’s me and my girlfriend and we are looking to spend less than $1000 each on flight and hotel.

right now I could get the cruise at $1700
Should I wait and get a last minute deal? or is this the deal I’m looking for? How far in advanced do the best prices generally show up?
I went to vegas right after new year, and 3 months in advanced I got a 4* hotel at $129 (which sounded like a good deal)… 10 days before the day of the trip it was at $89
So, I don’t know how cruises work, what is the best time to get the best deal?
