Cheapest Way To Get To Amsterdam In Late August From London?

Trying to get the cheapest means of transport possible so we have more to spend when we’re there and more to spend on accomodation.
I’ve tried Ryanair, but they don’t bloody fly there! EasyJet prices were a little bit more expensive than I would have liked. Do they go down if you get a last minute deal?
We were planning to use Easyjet and then Hotels.com.
Would a ferry be cheaper? But we’d much prefer to fly.
Any suggestions?
Cheers :)

Keep on checking easyjet fares several times a day. That is your best bet. I’d stay away from hotels.com and try some other site. Hotels.com is too mainstream and probably charges you a bunch of extra fees. Just google “London to Amsterdam” and enter the date and google will give you a bunch of options.

If EasyJet is no good, try VLM. Also look into SkyEuropehttp://www.flylc.com/en/cheap-flight/fli…
I’ve also had some luck with http://www.cheapoair.com. They seem to be good for Europe and pretty much the equivalent of cheaptickets.com in the US.
Enjoy Amsterdam, it’s a great city.

The cheapest is the long way, London to Harwich then Harwich to A-Dam.
Dutch barges come into the Thames. They used to tie up along the Bankside in the 1960s. Not sure if you can get transport by boat any more from the Pool of London.
