I have no experience booking trips so I could use some help. I’m trying to keep it as cheap as possible, but I don’t want to stay in TOO seedy of a hotel- it’s not the biggest deal tho b/c I’ll just be sleeping there. I want to stay from 2/19 – 2/23, which I know is really last minute but I want to make it work. Does anyone know a cheaper hotel near Harrahs casino? Or cheap flights out of Newark or Laguardia?
I can use all the help I can get, thanks in advance!
The best way to get a great deal is to book them separately. For flights, check sites like Southwest airlines or US Airways. Also do a search on kayak engine. It will check all airlines going to Vegas and all major travel sites and return the cheapest fare. http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/cheap-fli...
For hotels, book directly from the hotels using their discount promo codes to get the maximum discounts. Here are a few codes. http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/special.p...
Book your hotel direct its the cheaptes way and if the price drops after you book you can get them to drop your pruce by calling. You can get Excalibur from around $30 a night whilst its not right next to Harrahs youc an get the bus right outside its a good hotel safe and in a good part of the strip have a look. http://vegasuncovered.wordpress.com/2009…http://vegasuncovered.wordpress.com/2009...

good price per room is 49-79/night. friday and especially saturday prices go up to 100-179. during the week is cheap.
flight try for $150 each way is your best bet on a short notice.
I booked mine on Expedia.com…you can try other online sites…or the airline that you are wanting to fly w/..check their site..everybody has some kind of deal..we are staying longer, and wanted a non stop flight out of Milwaukee..got a better deal booking flight and hotel together..when just looking for flights, it was much more expensive. good luck!
*the sites pretty much walk you through the booking process, or you can call them directly…
** we are flying Air Tran (non stop), and staying at Encore (4 nights) for a total price of about $1100 (2ppl)
I introduce you to your complete guide to everything Vegas.http://www.VegasMadeEasy.com
Hope this helps!
Use this site for good deals. Air from Newark as low as $287 rt and hotels like Imperial Palace for $47 a night, Excalibur for $59 a night. http://www.sidestep.com/
I booked our flights on orbitz.com they were 277 per person and I used vegas.com to book the rooms. orbitz had some deals on rooms but vegass.com had better deals. And i searched I don’t know how many websites for flights, and orbitz beat them all. I am going there this month from the 20th to 22nd. All together it was less than 700 for the weekend. And with the flights book as soon as possible, I wanted to book 12/30 but my hubby said wait, the flights went from 234 to 277 and there were only 6 seats left on 12/31 when I booked. The next day i booked a flight for my cousin to go with us, and her’s was 325, so the eariler you book the better. The next day after that our flights were completely filled, so we would have had to make stops instead of a non-stop flight. hope this helps
