Ok. here is the deal.. For the past two days i’ve been trying to find a hotels that have a hot tub / jacuzzi IN THE ROOM.. But i don’t want to go to a sybaris.. SO yeah.. Does anyone know where I could go, near the Chicago Land area?? Times running out.. Need help

If I don’t care where I go and can leave at last minutes notice on boxing day from london for up to 2 weeks (don’t really mind how long/short). How can I get the best deal. Surely they have random extra seats on flights that would be really cheap but they wouldn’t know till very soon before? here’s the deal… we have vacation from 21 July to 5 August, and our origingal plans just fell through. So I was looking for a good last minute deal for this weekend and booked a weekend trip to Bermuda. I just needed to get away for a weekend. Have had a pretty tough and stressful 9 months. I Think its a pretty good deal (3 nights hotel + flight for $430) Good deal, average or did I just get owned by travelocity? We let everyone know a year in advance that we were having a destination wedding. The only person who raised concern about expenses was his mother who we paid for her plane ticket and hotel stay. not a big deal. his sister was supposed to read the reading at the ceremony. last week i called her to ask if she was still doing the reading. she has been avoiding my calls and dodging me. (its 4 weeks til the wedding) she instead texts me she isnt coming and wont do the reading. this is totally coming out of left field. than on top of it she insults me in the text message! i am so flabergasted at this womans nerve. how can she back out and then insult me to make herself feel better?? should i have my fiance handle it, or should i just cut her off completely. i feel like she totally crossed the line. esp since we have done soo much for her in the past and she can afford to to come to the wedding since she just got an inheritance of a large sum. I know so far that Travelocity is the cheapest to purchase last minute travel deals. I am leaving fron Toronto, and going to Miami. I would like to stay on the beach..the hotel I really like is Called Fontainbleu. Which are the links i go to to find cheap international travel ? I am planning a last minute trip to Myrtle Beach leaving tomorrow and I found a hotel I wanted to stay at. Could/would I get a better rate if I just walked in, or should I go ahead and make the reservations? I was reading some reviews of some hotels and I saw a few comments that said “We used their walk in rate and got a great deal”, etc. I know I would run the risk of not finding vacancy, but would I get a better rate? Anyone know where to purchase a gift certificate to sites like Travelocity, Expedia, Orbitz, etc…? Or an Amex/Visa/MC gift card for $5,000??? its for the end of August trip…any last-minute-deals you know and heard of? Please send me some links…yes i already tried Travelocity, orbitz. |
